I have really enjoyed it, much more than the first one. Just plays better. The first one I could never really get into, but this one has been much better.

I think all the classes are pretty decently matched. Sure, more often than not the heavy will beat an officer or scout in close/medium range, but you can still hold your own. Each class has enough abilities and perks that you can be very helpful with all of them. I'm not sure which class I'm liking the most.

The progression is still a chore and the loot boxes are dumb, but overall I think it is fine after they removed the transactions.
