Airlines can offer up to $1500 if you volunteer to give up your seat. Obviously their offer was cheap. I'm guessing they will pay a lot more in the settlement and lost business.

This is what gets me on the guys side. I read Delta can offer up to 1200 if need be. Of course they only went to 800 in this instance. Sounds like some pencil pusher wanted to save a few hundred bucks.

I have to think at least several people would've offered up their seat for 1,200 + hotel. I know I would most likely of.

I just booked a $113 RT United, MSY>Chicago for May today. I wonder if this has anything to do with the video, lol.
