Well, that's more incentive to hire him. They can hire him for practically nothing initially, and let LSU pay the difference. Since when do other companies or universities have to pay an executive or a coach as much as he was making at his previous job? They don't, they only have to pay him what his market value is worth, and in the case of Les Miles, that's not very much.

It's not about money. He obviously wants a job because he's lobbying for one every time he speaks publicly
