I am sorry if she does have it. It depends as to how bad it can be. My father had it in his knees, mild compared to my mother. It ate her alive, spine, knees, and her hands were a horror story. Everything they basically tried was a shite show. Pathetic Doctor, but to them, he was the hometown hero.
I was diagnosed 2 years ago. It is in my knees. I have modified my diet, somewhat. I could do better about that, but it would mean no liquor and I do enjoy a beer and bourbon on occasion. My knees feel like they are literally on "fire". They are right now!
