Why? Because what you are describing is nothing BUT childish selfish behavior.
Good marriages are partnerships. Having been married almost 4 decades to my wife is know how true this is. That partnership is defined before the vows are taken as well for almost all of them.
Most of you haven't figured this out. When there are consequences to just walking away you might just think about it first.

Marriage is still alive and well for younger people in the United States. Remember, the ones bucking trends are always the loudest.
