GREAT point, there is no good age...and sadly at the HS level some of your best P's are also the SS, 3b, C, etc. These coaches have them throw one night, then two days later they are playing a pos in the field. Some didn't even get 2 days if the team is in a holiday/weekend tournament. Saw it here in N.C. and never understood the logic behind it.

You don't see MLB teams have their SP throw like that and IF they do it is very rare and might either be the post season or in pursuit of a no-hitter/perfect game.
