There is a difference here.
Not defending the way some conservatives treated Obama, but the treatment of Trump is far more widespread, and far worse.
When you have a sitting Congressman making a joke about one of his female staffers being used to being on her knees in the Oval Office and the media and moronic voters teehee over it, all the while screaming that the right hates women, you know you've reached a new low.

Now you are saying it's different by claiming a difference in the degree of disrespect. Let's review the OP.
It doesn't say sad to see the degree of disrespect for the Office of the President. It says sad to see the lack of respect. Go on again and tell us how it's different.
