I'm not fatigued. Just depends on the story to go along with that open world.
Some neglect the story and just add piles of fetch quests. I don't even mind fetch quests if the central story is good and as long as the fetch garbage helps me level up skills.
If the fetch garbage doesn't really boost me at all and if the story is weak, then the game sucks. Has nothing to do with open world.
I have enjoyed the hell out of Resident Evil 7, Unchartered 1-4, and Last of Us. I didn't have to grind anything which was nice. So maybe I had a little open world grind fatigue but not enough to stop me from getting the next big game.
Holding off on ME4 until they've patched it up.
