I have it and I feel every bit as safe as with my old ADT system if not more so.

My old ADT system was one of the old systems prior to cellular. Even though I'd been with them for damn near 10 years they wanted damn near 2 grand up front to upgrade my system to cellular. Now I got the $300 defender deal and I'm cellular, get text alerts when my alarm is armed/disarmed, and get emails when anything is weird from the monitoring company. Now there are people out there with complaints but I've tested my system with the monitoring company (COPS) and I'm satisfied that it works.

I guess I'll never know for sure until I have an attempted break in, but I never had one of those with ADT either.

Oh yea I' paying about half what I paid ADT to monitor...25 vs 48/month.
