Mayan Kiir asks VCU for release

Why is this significant? He is a 6 ft 9 Power Forward who once consider attending LSU who selected VCU. LSU was in his top three and we need another big man.

I get why VCU might be upset with the request, but it's a bad look to essentially hold a kid hostage who wants to leave because circumstances completely beyond his control changed.

Just talked and he's considering us but he's keeping his options open for now! Hopefully get him back down on a visit and let wade get back in with him. We'll be sitting pretty with a damn good PF..
