I use Opera Browser for computer and Opera Mini Browser for Android phone. Both have built-in ad blockers and desktop version has built-in VPN. Opera also offers a stand alone VPN application in the Google Play Store.

This helps when browsing the internet.

For all around protection, I use Private Internet Access (PIA). This is for a person that may dive into Usenet newsgroups, torrents, adult content, etc. and are wanting a very secure connection.
