The far end estimates have the Earth warming by 2C degrees in 100 years

The far end estimates have man's activities accounting for no more than 25% of that.

So, even if every human disappeared overnight (and every plant, car, etc. stopped running), the Earth would still be 1.5C degrees warmer in 100 years.

Is .5C degrees worth complete disruption of the Western economies? Does getting hit by a truck at 75 miles an hour really differ that much from a truck going 100 miles per hour?

And this does not even take into consideration the expansion of arable (i.e., farmable) land that would result.
