Tikka T3x Lite in 7mm-08 with a Meopta Meostar R2 2.5-15X56 (Meopta discontinued it but some sites still have it up for sale like SportOptics because they haven't gotten rid of inventory I presume)

Tikka hunter 7 mag. Can't go wrong with Meopta scopes. I've been a fan of vortex lately. With a vortex viper pst 3x15x42 with a 30mm tube you could step it up to a sako A7 and still be in your price range.

Do you currently own any deer rifles? If so, what kind? The first thing I would look at is building custom rifle off of an action that you may already have. Then I'd just buy a Swarovski Z3 and slap it on top.

I love all the people who usually recommend a Vortex Viper that weighs as much as the Meostar and is not nearly as good and yet they say the Meostar is too heavy. It's less than 24 ounces. Idk why anyone thinks that that is ridiculously heavy.
