I believe S corps will pay the tax from what I read.

Remember LA doesn't have a true recognition of S corps... it's a bastardized exclusion off of C Corp taxation.
I would agree that would hold true for S Corps that are eligible for 100 percent exclusion (i.e. Louisiana resident shareholders).
But what about mixed? What about the LA companies that only get a, say, 60 percent exclusion, because 40 percent of the shares are owned by non-LA shareholders? How is that going to work, considering this seems to be an add-on tax for passthroughs, but a corporate AMT for corporations?
