My memory of Mount Flora is confined to stopping at The Dairy King in Empire for a burger fries and shake afterwards. That’s a very beautiful area and all those switchbacks are fun for flatlanders.

I guess I've been pretty close to Mount Flora, when I hiked up to St. Mary's Glacier? That is a beautiful area. I am a flatlander, but I am kind of a beast when it comes to hiking uphill. In the past, altitude has only bothered me significantly when I drink alcohol.

Yep! You were close. You were heading up James Peak which is about four miles away.

Enjoy! I’m out here now. I swear there’s nowhere better.
