Commission report question (income)

My company pays me salary plus monthly incentive based on monthly gross profit and revenue .
The structure is already extremely confusing , but the meat of my question is , do those that get a monthly commission check also typically get a commission report that breaks down your commission for the month ?
To date , I have just been getting a check , not knowing if it's a true reflection of sales for that month .

I have for every commissioned sales job that I've had. If it hasn't been on one commission report then it's been part of the order paperwork for each sale.

Yeah, you should be getting some kind of report or statement. otherwise, how do you (and the company) know it is correct?

When I worked for a draw vs commission I received a copy of the invoice for every product shipped to any of my customers.
