He's been shite in general for a while now. He does some of the little things well and is serviceable in a defensive midfield role, which is what keeps him in the lineup. And just the fact that he's our captain at the moment and we don't have anyone good enough to put our captain on the bench.
Our central midfield options going into Russia '18 are seriously scary to the think about. Not good at all.
