To me, this stems from Sir Nick Faldo practically guaranteeing that Spieth would win or nearly win as the broadcast was beginning on Sunday.
He is not near Tiger's prime at the moment. I don't know if Faldo really believed this or CBS put him up to it to promote a player to Tiger like status.
