I'm still trying to figure out why the NCAA not only took a position on this, but decided to do so aggressively.

North Carolina should take the high road, and publicly offer to remove all NCAA logos from all their state owned sports venues, so as not to embarrass them with inadvertent TV display during sporting events! Private universities should as well, since it's the right thing to do!

fricking this.
I think both the law and the local ordinance that spawned it were stupid symbolic gestures. They were solutions in search of a problem. I would never have voted for it in the first place.
That said, I would not vote to repeal because of the NCAA. Screw them. Governors need to get on the horn to their college presidents and tell them to BACK THE frick OFF.

No shite. Yet no one has dared ask the NCAA where trannies go at their headquarters. Or the ACC. I'm sure since it's such a huge fricking issue for them that they have taken steps to accommodate the trannies at their offices.
I just worked two college basketball tournaments in NC in the last month, and I promise you no one at either event gave a flying rat fart in hell about the bathroom law.
