Has anyone seen and liked Waterloo (1970) - it's such an ambitious film (it was said that, during its making, director Sergei Bondarchuk was in command of the seventh largest army in the world.)
I really liked it and the epic scale. The cinematography and battle scenes are immense for a period film.
