Most places that sell Bonnie green house plants have purple Cherokee. I planted a couple last year and they were fantastic, but don't expect to get a whole bunch of production out of these. I think each plant produced about 5 nice tomatoes all season.

That's why I'm trying the Black Krim. I just couldn't get the Purples to make more.

I just can't pay $4.00 for a plant. I'm a cheap arse but I normally plant over 50 tomato plants. Normally 3-4 of different varieties. I have 30 in the ground already but haven't found any Cherokee purples that's under $3.00.
