Really cool gesture by Jurgen here. How often do you see a manager who was recently fired from a big job doing something like this publicly. Never or hardly ever. Especially when the firing wasn't exactly a mutual parting of ways. It got a little ugly at the end. The vitriol and angst was definitely palpable from the US soccer community.

I must be jaded, because I view that second tweet as a backhanded way of making an excuse for the teams performance at the end under him.
