I kind of have mixed emotions on this one. If there was an early signing period this year LSU would probably not have gotten Jacob Phillips(#1 ILB) who was committed to Oklahoma.
Schools will put a lot of pressure on every commit to sign the early LOI. Can't blame them either. If a guy is committed but refuses to sign when given the opportunity there is a big chance he won't sign anyway.
