Giving away a baseball card as a prize makes it a "baseball card event"?

Hypothetical for you. If someone gives away a signed Shaq shoe at a cancer fundraiser, does that make the fundraiser a "basketball shoe event"?

Too early to deal with such stupidity.

I guess I don't know what a "Twitch breakaway opening" is? I've heard of baseball card pack opening parties before and figured it was one of those.

Even if not it's clear baseball cards were a large part of whatever was going on.

I'm active in the MLB the Show (Video game) community and one of the bigger players in the community also does these 'breakaway' openings.

I didn't know what it was at first either, but it's where someone buys the boxes which like someone said, can cost more than $100 and depending on the boxes that are in the flight, like 10 people pay to get in. Those 10 people then are assigned randomly every team in the MLB and then those people can trade teams amongst themselves. Then the person doing the breakaway just opens all of the packs and whatever teams you have, you get all of the cards for those teams.

It's basically a way to open expensive packs, but somewhat on a budget with a lot of people.
