In response to the person with one post that posted that strange web site.
Trump admin challenges Hawaii judge’s halt on new travel ban | Fox News
Obama, I mean The Hawaii judge, told Trump to pound sand in response about 5 hours ago. Originally reported in the LATimes but I am not paying to read them, nor will I post them.

So...they gave him a chance to unfrick himself and he doubled down?
On to the 9th.
On to the 9th.

We all know...Obama's team of lawyers I mean the 9th Circus has papers all ready.
So can we just move this along quickly to SCOTUS? Or will Trumps lawyers stall until Gorsuch is confirmed? His confirmation hearing is tomorrow. Anyone know how long it will take?

It will take the nuclear option and it will be around 2 months before he is sworn in

Actually, they are planning the vote in the first 2 weeks of April.
Posted on 3/19/17 at 9:17 pm to cajunangelle
Well I wouldn't expect a judge to just change his/her ruling, expecially when the ruling isn't really about the legal aspects of the law itself, beyond the aspects for the TRS.

....and every single refugee will reside in Hawaii for this. Blue state anyway.

quote:Well I don't think Trump has done anything impeachable so that seems like a pointless thing to pursue.
Impeach his arse.

What did you expect from a Hawaii moron who thinks spam is a delicacy?!

On to the 9th.
It's just going to be a libtard 3 ring act during the appeal in the 9th Circus!
If you're seen one libtard dog and pony show, you're seen them all!

When this gets to the Supremes ....

Hawaii Fed Judge
Imagine the coincidence.
Just coincidence.
How is this exactly "religious" discrimination?
quote:
Attorney Colleen Roh Sinzdak says a Muslim plaintiff in the lawsuit, Ismail Elshikh, has such standing to challenge the ban. Elshikh says the ban prevents his mother-in-law, who lives in Syria, from visiting family in Hawaii.
Imagine the coincidence.
quote:
The judge in Hawaii who put President Donald Trump's revised travel ban on hold was nominated to the federal bench by President Barack Obama.
Just coincidence.
quote:
The judge says Hawaii is likely to succeed on a claim that the ban violates the First Amendment right protecting people against religious discrimination.

quote:No it's probably not coincidence that a federal prosecutor, from Hawaii, with an impressive resume--including attending one of the top law schools in the country--would be nominated to serve in his home state.
Just coincidence.
He was confirmed 94-0 so I don't know what else matters.

What's next? Clockboy files another lawsuit saying he was banned from taking his "clock" on a plane?

You should read the opinion. It answers your questions.

quote:Sure, but he was qualified. And obviously he probably fits Obama's ideology, but I just don't know what the gotcha is supposed to mean.
