You're not looking at this trade objectively then.
Throw the $$ out because frankly who cares what we pay him, Loomis will make the $$s work.
If we give back 32 were basically overall trading an offensive luxury for a starting defensive need and getting a better mid round pick for it.
Who can not like that deal? We only would have gotten Cooks "on the cheap" one more year and then he would have walked for free in FA.
