I'm just curious as to why the Pats went out and got the top corner in free agency and would be willing to let their top cover go. They both will be paid about the same. Something tells me Belicheck doesn't like something about Butler.

90% of the time the PATS are right. Tires are starting to deflate (no pun intended), injury, loosing a step? They are the best at letting players go at the right time. And not over paying, Belechek more than likely giving us the ugly girl without the make-up.
But that could still be our best course of action to begin to stabilize our DBs.
