She's not the mom of the girl, the girl is just someone she works with.
From reading the comments on the Spring Hill FB page LINK, apparently the unnamed girl lives with her grandmother, has missed a bunch of school because of an unnamed mental disorder, and probably didn't turn in excuse notes for her absences. And this Susan woman feels like she needs to advocate for the girl to go to prom on a public group page, without actually knowing all the details.

Probably suffering from Female Hysteria, bless her heart. Thankfully, there is help...
They also have automated systems as well...
I think this is why so many females are so batshit crazy nowadays, they're suffering from Female Hysteria.
