Saw it this weekend and loved it. I'm a huge Emma Watson fan and was glad to see her in the role of Belle. The rest of the cast was great. Will probably be seeing it with another group of people soon.
The "gay scenes" that the right-wing media and people are blowing out of proportion simply didn't exist. It was just Lafou idolizing Gaston a lot with some hints of being infatuated and a quick 5 second bit of him dancing with a man at the end. If that triggers you, you must have a miserable life.
Anyway, it was a solid 8.5/10 for me.

I'll put it this way. Lafou in the cartoon was akin to Rick McCallum sucking up to George Lucas in the prequels. Lafou in the live action film is akin to Liberachi.
