My current av is a little outdated, so I would appreciate it if one of the talented people here could help me change it. Here's what I want:
(1) Outline of the state of Louisiana - Purple. Perhaps with a "gold" outline of the state?
(2) My initials, KCT, spanning the state in a symmetrical fashion. I want the "K" located in the Shreveport area, the "C" located around Alexandria, and the "T" located in the BR/NOLA area. In other words, whatever looks centered or symmetrical. I want these letters in LSU's version of gold, which really looks more like yellow to me.
(3) I'm thinking I might also want a background color to fill out the rest of the space of the av, if that makes any sense (as opposed to white). I'm not really sure, though. You can play around with that (either white or a color) if you are so inclined.

PS - I was "away" for awhile, so I would like to take this opportunity to pay my respects to Ashman. He was a good guy who helped me out a few times. My sympathy to his family.

That looks great, idlewatcher. 
Yeah, if you could make the letters a little larger it would be perfect. And, could you make the background a little darker, like the color bigtime 92 has? Thanks.

That's close, idlewatcher. Not to be a pain in the arse, but if you could make the following tweaks:
(1) Make the letters just a bit larger.
(2) Make the purple a little darker, like the color in bigtime92's second effort.
(3) I know i said earlier i might want a 3rd color to fill it out, but I don't want it. So, leave the "exterior" white.
