No, please no. We need someone who has been successful more than once. He has not really proven himself enough.

How many guys take over a mid major that has 7 straight losing seasons and wins the conference in the first 3 years he takes over?

This is my guy if we go for a mid major guy, without a doubt.
I'd rather him over Crean. matter fact the only guy i'd rather than him is Bray, if he's even a possibility.

I'll concede the need to try to go for a coach with more of a longer record of success (and excluding Stansbury or Kermit I'm shooting a bit higher) first, but if you give a legit try and get outbid by all the other schools who care 10 times more about hoops than us, I actually think Keats would be an excellent fall back hire.

He is a patino protégée. And has won the conference 2 of the 3 years he's been there. Hell hes been to the tourney as many times as jones and only been a head coach for 3 years
