If you were actually act the game and thought 2 of 3 of these were bloakable then you are clueless about baseball

We needed another pain train to pass by. That's the only reason we were in the game.

I watched it on tv, so I guess I'm absolved.

and if CPM would have bunted with bases loaded,
The UNO third and first base players were standing a third of the way down the line towards home plate when the pitcher released the ball. It would have taken a perfect bunt to score the runner on third. Otherwise it would have been an easy force out at home plate.

Plus, Zach Watson (the hitter at the time you're referring to) has zero sac bunts this season so we don't know if he is a good bunter or not. I suspect Micah Gibbs and Paul Mainieri know and that's why they let him swing away.

Yeah... bunting with the bases loaded to score a run? No. It's a force. Too easy.

not like they we're breaking balls called in dirt so he is expecting it and can get on top of bounce. They were fastballs hitting 1-3 feet in front of plate and well outside this is never on the catcher. If you want to bash him for his at-bats last night that's fine and valid. He is good back there and def. a better option we need him workin with pitchers ect so have to accept that he might hit 220

Kiel is just wild and difficult to catch, throws hard though, will probably be that guy that gets drafted anywhere and goes pro.

Bunting wasn't a high percentage strategy there.

Watson has been a decent contact guy this year. CPM was expecting a sac fly to the outfield or at worst a ball put into play.

Credit to the UNO P for getting the strikeout.

standing a third of the way down the line

i understand now, on tv i couldnt see where infielders were...
but he missed another opportunity earlier in the game with a runner on 3rd only, would have extended the lead to 3 @ the time...but, i guess it was a situation that he wanted the hitter to respond to besides with a bunt...

All 3 of Kiel's wild pitches last night were fast balls hitting the dirt a foot or so in front of the plate. One of them hit almost 2 feet in front of and a foot outside the plate.

Ok...sounds like something a superior defensive catcher hitting at the Mendoza line should be able to handle or find the bench.
