I live in Ruston and usually drive right at 75 mph on I-20. I'm all over it between Shreveport and Monroe. Only place I ever see cars being stopped going that speed is in Ruston. The rest of the Troopers, sheriffs and city cops act like they don't see me if I'm 75 or under except for the Ruston cops.

After reading your post, I may drop down to 74 everywhere.

State Trooper near Rough Edge Rd just East of Ruston popped me. Waved me over. I was shocked. Looked immediately at my digital speedometer before slowing, 76. Trooper said I was going 5 miles per hour faster than I was,81. I politely corrected him but I got the ticket anyway. Don't believe the bull about infallible radar reading.

Bienville Parish just west of Arcadia is another hot spot. Deputy likes to hang out in a low spot in the median. Probably writes 20 a day.
