To the OP, the bait depicted is what we call the "eggworm". Run 1 berkley power egg up the hook and cover the eye. pinch off a 1/2 to 3/4" piece of worm and thread on the hook. It looks like a little bug or something to them. They eat the shite out of it.
Tight line it down stream, throw it cross stream and bump it along, or throw it up stream and drag it if you are in a boat.

Man you guys are great. I have used a similar rig with grubs and powerbait when I fished the White River over a decade ago. I appreciate all the insight.
We plan to fish NORTH of Hwy 70, as well as
Beavers Bend, Spillway Creek, Lost Creek, Evening Hole...
Are these good spots? I have never been up there. Im excited. Pictures look beautiful.
