Jesus, you just don't let up in your defense of Miles. His offenses were known for predictability, lack of motion, lack of misdirection, etc.

So is every single program if you watch them.
No cfb programs runs a huge variety of plays. The coaches only have 20 hours a week to practice on the field.

Landry said the scout told him that based on film breakdown, Fournette faced 8-man-plus defenders in the box on 67 percent of his 616 college running attempts. That included 22 percent against 9-plus defenders in the box.

Our most used set in 2015 was 3 wr set.
We were a 3 wr set 49% of the time in 2015 and it was our leading set in 10 games.

And you wondered how Fournette barely made it back to the line of scrimmage against mighty Alabama the last two seasons when he averaged 25.5 yards on 13.0 carries?

He barely made it back to the Los because Bama's front 7 has more players with a 1st rd grade than lsu's entire team.

There were few, if any, formation shifts

Do you watch other programs?
quote:

watch plenty of other football. You're deep in denial if you think Miles' cro-magnon offense displayed any variation, creativity, etc.

You clearly dont if you think our prostyle offense was anymore predictable than all those spread teams that run about 20 plays.
Those great oregon offenses ran the same exact play 50% of the time.
quote:

But then again, of course you're in denia

Im stating facts. Spread offense and HUNH offenses are far more predictable than any prostyle offense.
Again, Chip Kelly's entire playbook consists of 4 running plays.

Skip hadn't pulled him out of Stillwater, he would have been a journeyman coach.

And this right here proves you dont watch other programs and don't know shite about Miles' coaching before lsu.

Miles went to an Oklahoma State program that had 1 winning season in the previous 13 years and got them 3 straight winning seasons and having 8 and 9 win seasons.
When Miles got to Oklahoma State they were getting recruiting classes in the 80's & 90's and he brought in multiple top 25 classes.

You, like other apologists, give Miles way too much credit.

I give the credit he has earned as having one of the best tenures in SEC HISTORY.
