5 of the 8 most productive offenses in lsu history are miles coached teams. But hey dont let facts get in the way of you posting.
During Les Miles' tenure, LSU's passing offense was better than the FBS avg only twice: 2006 and 2013. In 2005, it was right about average for the FBS. The FBS ranged from 120 to 128 teams.
How do you define "most productive"?
In terms of total yards (season): 4 of top 8 under LM
In terms of avg yards (season): 3 of top 8 under LM
In terms of most TDs (season): 4 of top 8 under LM

Totals are a flawed metric when you're comparing lsu to team that run a lot of plays.
For example in 2013 lsu was 11th in the country in offensive yards per play but we were 105th in plays ran because we are a ball controlled offense. Being 105th in plays ran had far more to follow with our totals in 2013 than the lack of offensive production.

Yards per play is a much more accurate stat to justify production.
Team A= 450 yards on 85 plays
Team B= 440 yards on 60 plays.
Team A would be ranked ahead in offensive yardage but it's clear team B had far more success once the ball was snapped.
