That would be awesome and huge, but it still doesn't remove the potential for being stranded when it runs out (unless you have 8-12 or however long it takes for them to charge back up).

Tesla's Superchargers are becoming more popular. There's one next to Trader Joe's in Baton Rouge. Chevrolet also has an expanding DC charger network that can provide about 90 miles worth of charge in 30 minutes. DC Charger
