What happened to your first motor?? Didn't you have one before that?

What are the advantages of these? Without a mud motor does it still do good in shallow water? Have a 15 merc that pushes a 14/32 through some shallow stuff(1-2 feet with weight in front) , but always have to de gunk and pull grass off the prop. Never heard of one, usually just the typical havoc/excell/etc with a surface drive or long tail if they aren't using an outboard.
What are prices new and used ? How do they hold up to say stumps and trees ?
