I've listened to some of the audiobooks, and Dresden is a good comparison. It's also an interesting take on celtic mythology, and the concept that various deity groups can interact with each other.

I have all Dresden and Iron Druid on audio. Dresden is pretty solid with the exception of a few misses. Luke Daniels does an awesome job with the Druid books, but the series is starting to trail off, which is disappointing. I hope it picks back up.
