I had an employee quit a few years ago(walked off the job) and called me the next day wanting her job back which I politely declined. She filed for unemployment. I fought her all the way to the third level administrative hearing where she claimed abusive job situation for her reason for quitting. When my time came to speak at the hearing I simply asked if it was such an abusive situation why did you ask for your job back the next day. The administrative judge smirked and dismissed her case. Some people are just loons
