Spinning reel only, never have birdnest or tangles. My son is a baitcaster fan but I hate them.

Show me a man that bass and sac-au-lait fishes with a spinning reel, and I will show you a man that misses bites.....
Spinning reels are great for when you dont have to spot cast or feel light bites for setting the hook
