I'd like him but he might cost MORE than DeSean Jackson in the total contract for his age.

Not added to this calculated cost list yet-

I think anyone with football smarts can see it wasn't him but the team and scheme.
Rotoworld-
The move clears $4.675 million in cap space, a number that would increase to $7.875 million if designated as a post-June 1 cut. Smith was a colossal bust in San Francisco, catching 53 total passes for 930 yards. It exposed the limitations in Smith's game, but his struggles were more about the 49ers' staggering incompetence on offense than anything else. The sides were simply a disastrous match. Still only 28 with some of the league's purest speed, Smith won't take more than a few days to find a new home

maybe the reason his speed dropped off is because he was on the 49ers and there was nobody there to throw him the ball.

lets face it, your surroundings do have an affect on you and being in that shite hole situation last year maybe he was just trying to do his job and not get hurt hoping something changes for him or the team.

lets bring him in and see him workout, its worth looking at

just saying a little bit of his stats changing might be him feeling nothing would come of him killing himself out there going full speed.

he seems too young to be "slowing down" so I think his speed is still there and it was just something else
