So you think he can be a day one/very early starter in the NFL without bias?

No question about it, as does most everyone that isn't biased one way or another...
I mean there are tons of guys that don't start early in their college career that start as NFL rookies, pretty silly to knock Foster for that. Few if any defensive schemes in college are as complex as Alabama's and there isn't one that's better micromanaged, the linebackers Saban has sent to the league from Alabama have performed at a very high level

There's no question. He doesn't have to be the field general just yet or even at all.
I think he could come in and immediately be better than Ellerbe at Sam. If he can't figure out the calls then just let him use his instincts and athleticism.
It's what the Bucs did with Lavonte David. He started his rookie season as a Sam and then transitioned into a Mike.
