That sounds great and all but there are some very special needs Vets require such as:
1. Advanced research and care for amputees
2. PTSD treatment
3. Long term In-patient treatment for both medical and psychological issues
You might be able to privatize the VA but I wouldn't want to see it go completely away.
Having a VA hospital helps vets connect with other vets who suffer as they do.
