My feeling is Disney is about to find out that moms and dads aren't hip to having all this gay crap foisted upon their young children.

This will be Disney's bridge too far. Of course, Disney will be lauded for being so open and inclusive by the press, while the millions who refuse to see it will be branded as usual hate-filled, bigoted, mouth-breathing neanderthals.

It's projected to make $120 million opening weekend. I guess we'll see.

They are set to make $120 million during the opening weekend alone. This movie will be huge around the world.

When will heartland conservatives realize that they have very little impact on what businesses (other than pickup truck manufacturers) decide to do?

I don't think Disney is going to be feeling it at all. It's going to gross far over a billion dollars. And it's based off of Disney's masterpiece. No one is not going to see this film because of a guy who is pretty obviously gay in the original. It's going to slay at the box office.

No. They did a movie with heavily gay subtext before, and that is now their highest grossing animated movie. People aren't as homophobic as you think. Audiences aren't going to let a few gay people from going to the remake of the greatest animated musical of all time. Gays in a musical? The horror!
