If you really wanted people to adopt, you wouldn't be making this about you and you wouldn't be such a dick about it. You're just making it worse.

Should people consider adoption? Yes. It's why we have multiple dogs. We have an Aussie because I grew up around them and they're my favorite pets. We have a 7 yo Aussie and a 3 yo son and seeing them grow up together has been special. But we also have a rescue. A big, fat, annoying mutt who's the most lovable, dumb dog you'll ever meet. She's great and I'm glad we have her, too. The point is that you aren't going to convince people to look at adoption by 1) being a dick and 2) when they're dead set on a certain breed.
