And BTW his crime doesn't indicate that he's violent
It indicates that he's a moron and a jerkoff. If he killed someone or seriously maimed them...yeah throw away the key, but that didn't happen. In fact does anyone know how fast this guy was going. It must've been drive thru restaurant speed because it's unbelievable no one is dead.

It does actually. Not violet in the ghetto trash way that you seem to only be concerned with, but now the less a threat to society. If you're irresponsible enough to get behind the wheel while that intoxicated, you are most certainly a threat to society.
And when you are no longer a threat and actually harm society, you officially have no leg to stand on.
