Yes .... I'm with Anthony Bourdain on steaks ....why on earth would you do that to an innocent piece of meat...I mean, it died once.....no need to abuse it further.

I've met several people who do the same with steaks: always welldone and with sauce of some kind. All of them are older white dudes who have spent a lot of time doing international travel. It was explained to me by one of them that 'you get used to ordering everything welldone'.
