or believe he is a level of talent I've seen in all-time greats
He's arguably the most athletic human to ever play the game of basketball. But yea, not wowed or too talented.

This ought to get your panties in a wad: Allen Iverson in his prime is better and it isn't close

You probably aren't old enough to remember his days at Georgetown and early in the NBA and into his prime years in Philly
I love AI. He's also a terribly inefficient shooter and way overrated defender, probably below average on that side of the ball.

Yet he was a winner. Not just a little above average winner, but led a team defunct of talent to the finals and beat one of the best teams every assembled on their home floor in a Game 1 for the ages. He was big-time when it mattered. Yes, he was inefficient at times, but he didn't do mind altering stupid things like Westbrook does at times. He does, period. I use to be a big fan, no lie. I'm not joking, but his seemingly random dumb "McGee lite" moments convince me he is too spastic out there to ever be anything except a stat sheet stuffer. He is like a spastic colon that operates efficiently and soundly for maybe 2 or 3 days and then one day it just goes off the rail and you think you are dying-also known as IBS.
