The same reason it's always white men who are portrayed as dumb, clueless, and clumsy while the brilliant black woman/man or white woman shows them the way.
Reality proves 9 times out of 10 it's completely the other way around, but we all know that pushing an agenda is far more important than reality.

I notice this all the time as well. It's pretty obvious the reason but still sad to what we have come to in America.
